Leaving a Legacy
Leaving a Legacy Van and Katie Bentley both come from a long history of family farmers and have deep appreciation for the self-sufficient traditions of the past. From raising livestock, growing their own food, and cooking from scratch, both Van and Katie work to preserve a more simple lifestyle to instill these same values into their children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
For their family, the farm provides a freedom and education unlike any other where younger generations can understand the excitement of a new baby calf, the source of where their food comes from, and the deep appreciation of the blessings all around them. While reminiscing on the heritage of their grandparents, they are able to invest in a legacy of their own.
Van and Katie are also grateful that their youngest son Travis and his wife Brittany have joined in creating this small family business on the farm.
While we have a small farm shop filled with naturally grown and homemade products, we also offer a number of activities and experiences for everyone. Come out to pick blueberries, enroll in one of our heritage classes, or stop by our shop to browse our collection of products. Whichever you choose, we hope that you enjoy your experience here on our little farm.
